Spring Break is just around the corner! As you prepare for your getaway, now is the perfect time to ensure your pet’s vaccinations are up to date before dropping them off for boarding.

Required Vaccines and Additional Services (Depending on the Facility):

• Rabies (core vaccine required in Iowa)
• Distemper (core vaccine required in Iowa)
• Leptospirosis (newly added as a core vaccine within the last 6 months; boarding facilities may or may not require it)
• Bordetella (non-core vaccine in Iowa but recommended for high-traffic areas with lots of dogs; boarding facilities may or may not require it)
• Fecal Test (some facilities require a negative fecal test before boarding)

We make it easy to stay on top of your pet’s vaccinations with reminders sent via postcards, emails, and our app, well in advance of when they’re due. Please remember, it’s your responsibility as a pet parent to keep your pet up to date with their vaccinations.

To ensure we can reach you, please notify us if you’ve recently moved or updated your contact information.

If you’re unsure about your pet’s vaccination status, don’t hesitate to give us a call. Our friendly team is always happy to assist you and can send your pet’s vaccine records directly to your boarding facility upon request.
