Laken joined the clinic in 2026. She graduated from Des Moines Area Community College in May 2021 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has interests in anesthesia and pain management as well and animal behavior. Laken has one terrier mix named Willow and a Wirehair Fox terrier named Dexter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, reading, and crocheting.
